Established in 1983, the Australian Society of Sport Administrators is the peak industry organization for salaried and voluntary sport administrators & managers. ASSA’s extensive industry network & programs play an important role in the professional development of sport management at all levels.
Who’s the program designed for?
Anyone involved in the management and/or delivery of sport, whether salaried or volunteer, full time or part time. The program is suitable for sport administrators wanting to develop skills, those wishing to add to existing qualifications as well as others wanting to update their knowledge in these critical areas of sport management.
How does it work?
The program is entirely online and at your own pace. Level one is usually 3 months maximum depending on your time available and can easily be done in 10 hours or so. If you want the questions “marked” and gain a certificate you will forward $50 for level one or $150 for level two. If you just wish to use Level One (for students and/or volunteers for example) and not have the fee costs just email us to inform us of how many people are doing it for our records. The level two content is sent to you after payment is received.
Is there a Program Supervisor?
ASSA(SA) appoints a Program Supervisor to each course participant who wants a certificate for Level One and for all Level Two participants. The Program Supervisor’s name and contact details are confirmed at the time of payment.
