Established in 1983, the Australian Society of Sport Administrators is the peak industry organisation for salaried and voluntary sport administers & managers. ASSA’s extensive industry network & programs play an important role in the professional development of sport management at all levels.

Who’s the program designed for?
Anyone involved in the management and/or delivery of sport, whether salaried or volunteer, full time or part time. The program is suitable for sport administrators wanting to develop skills, those wishing to add to existing qualifications as well as others wanting to update their knowledge in these critical areas of sport management.
What qualification is obtained?
The On Line Learning Program leads to the award of Level One Sport Administration under the National Accreditation Scheme for Sport Administrators (NASSA). Successful candidates can add the NASSA Level One Accreditation to their credentials.
How is the program structured?
If you want the review questions at the end of the six topics email us at email@example.com and we will send them to you. If you want them “marked” and a Level One Certificate granted at the successful completion of the questions please contact us for the enrollment form.
Once you’re enrolled the review questions will be forwarded via email to you including the details of your course supervisor. If you simply want to use the content all you need to do is acknowledge our copyright and use the content that best suits your club or organisation however you want.
Level One Sport Administration Manual – a comprehensive manual which provides all the program topics in easy to read study chapters, as well as additional resources and supplementary materials is available at the topic links above. Simply click on what topic you want and it links you with the PDF document. The study review questions are designed to be completed within 12 weeks.
Level Two Sports Management Manual – this is available after your enrollment and payment is completed and is forwarded to you via email. The Study Review questions are designed to be completed over a fifteen week period with an open book examination at week sixteen. The maximum time allowed for completion of the Program is twenty weeks from the date of enrollment.
Is there a Program Supervisor?
ASSA(SA) appoints a Program Supervisor to each course participant as well as providing options for study or reference groups. The Program Supervisor’s name and contact details are confirmed at the time of supply of the Level One Manual.
What’s the Cost?
As part of our commitment to improving the standard and quality of sports administrators in this country if you simply want the resource we will provide that for free. If you want to complete the review sections and the exam and be eligible (if successful) for a Certificate for Level One the cost is $50 (includes ASSA(SA) silver membership). Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you a registration form below. Please allow 2 weeks before your proposed commencement date for the administration to be completed. The cost for Level Two is $150 and please note that Level One must be successfully completed before Level Two can be attempted.
