What’s Happening

The Friends of marino Conservation park are pleased to announce that the new Botanical Trail through the park has finally been completed.

Now we are busy planting along the trail with examples of some of the vegetation that can be found growing in the coastal heath.

On Sunday 22nd July, there will be a Community Planting Day at the Park where we hope, with the help of local community members and other “Friends”, to make a significant impact of the numbers of tubestock that we have propagated and are ready to be planted.

The activities start at around 9.30 with a morning tea break at around 11.00   (morning tea provided by the Friends of Marino) and the planting concluding at around 12.30 pm. We meet in the carpark at the top end of Nimboya Rd Marino

Please come along and bring a friend. Remember to wear appropriate clothing, you will be down on your hands and knees planting. It might be an idea to bring a chair to sit on for morning tea.
