The Penfield Sporting Association (PSA) is responsible for all management issues and other obligations of the sporting area and is the major single point of contact between the landowner, member clubs and all external bodies and organisations that may affect the welfare of the clubs and the community.

The PSA promotes the activities of all member clubs with special emphasis being placed in the encouragement of junior members of the community to participate.
The PSA negotiates on behalf of member clubs with interested factions of the community and engages in any other activities they consider may be of benefit to members and the community and promotes a good relationship between the Association and its Member Clubs.
Each club is represented on the committee of the PSA which provides a forum for planning, discussion and resolution of any issues related to land and building facilities and their use. Members of the clubs are also members of the PSA.
