Distance Dancing

While the hall has been closed due to Covid-19, Monday Dancing continued using Zoom on the internet. Time lag and synchronisation issues were challenges, but a majority of AIFD members logged on each Monday and danced in their homes. Previous members who had moved interstate heard of the initiative and joined in, as did the dance group in Perth. By the end of May, the Zoom meetings covered, as well as the Adelaide International Folk Dancers, enthusiasts from Queensland, New South Wales, West Australia and even Ethiopia.

AIFD members held hands across cyber space.
