The Angas River Catchment Group aims to improve the health of the Angas River Catchment area by encouraging and assisting landholders to include native vegetation protection and enhancement as a part of their property management.

The group encourages and supports community education to increase people’s awareness of the importance and value of maintaining habitats for wildlife within the urban and rural areas of the Catchment.

The group has support from the Goolwa to Wellington Local Action Planning Association and the South Australian Murray Darling Basin NRM Board in providing assistance to landholders to achieve the above aims which may include provision of financial incentives as well as technical support and advice.
