Audiences

Živana dancers contribute to the teaching of the weekly AIFD club meetings. At these Monday night dance sessions they come together with other club members to develop dance skills and enjoy the recreational program of dances from all around the world.

Živana dancers foster and contribute to international dance also by:

* Attending many community dances held by cultural groups now residing in South Australia, for example, the Greek, Bulgarian and Romanian communities. Dancers have built long-standing relationships with the organizers of these events who welcome participation and, on occasions, commission the group to perform for special celebrations – more recently dancing for special Romanian celebrations including for the Romanian Ambassador.

* Performing and delivering international dance workshops at:

o South Australian Folk Festivals and events

o Australian National Folk festivals where festival goers have the opportunity to enjoy one of the few performances with a multicultural dance focus.

* Performing at numerous fairs, official openings and events (including the Azerbaijan performances being very popular at the Medieval Fair).

* Volunteering to service the senior members of the community through presentations and performances at retirement villages and fitness groups. These activities often include audience participation to learn simple dances.
